This is a 3 month contract with possible extension.
Pay: $68.50/hour
Schedule: Day Shift 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

IV certification Texas "The pharmacist in this role shall be a licensed practitioner who holds a valid, unrestricted infection control
Duties:
problems, and resolving actual drug-related problems. Additionally, to perform the duties of a registered pharmacist as
defined by Texas Children's Hospital. All responsibilities will be performed in a manner developmentally appropriate for the
ages of patients served (0-adult)."
- Ensures the appropriateness of all medication doses in reference to the patient’s diagnosis, weight/body surface area,
- Accurately enters medication orders in computer as evidenced by lack of medication incidents.
- Ensures the medications the patient receives are correct as documented by lack of dispensing errors file.
- Ensures medication orders are processed and doses are delivered within established guidelines as evidenced by peer review
- Follows aseptic technique and infection control in the preparation of sterile products. Insists technicians and other
the aseptic technique/infection control skills and written exam as documented by a qualified observer.
Fast paced pharmacy satellite. Mostly acute care and NICU IV doses and some oral liquid doses.
Mainly 8-1830
IV certification required. Must be able to work with/supervise pharmacy technicians

Education:
"Required- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Or
Ph.D. Pharm. D. degree"
Required- RPH - Pharmacist State of Texas
