Pharmacist Closed Door Setting

CLOSED DOOR PHARMACY LOOKING FOR A PHARMACIST TO ADD TO THE TEAM!!!

***SHIFT (must be flexible to working 1st and 2nd shift)

• Will work a rotating schedule (open & closing shifts - see shift details below)
• Rotating weekend work is also required - will need to work every 4th or 5th weekend
• Will also be required to work on-call 1-2x/week
• Schedules are released 1 month in advance, and build out 1 month at a time.

--> OPENING SHIFT | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

--> CLOSING SHIFT | Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD Preferred)

ACTIVE Utah Pharmacist License (validate UT license here: https://secure.utah.gov/llv/search/index.html)

Experience within a retail and/or fulfillment pharmacy (looking for high-volume, hands-on pharmacy/prescription experience)

Detail and goal oriented

Team player

Effective oral and written communication

Description:

• Reviews patient prescriptions and evaluates for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions
• Prepare prescriptions at a high-volume rate (1000/day for entire facility) - including dispensing, compounding, IV mixture, & more.
• Maintains patient database to include current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and current medication.
• Obtains and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and policy.
• Manage, review, and order for pharmacy control inventory.
• Documents all communication with physicians, nurses, other members of the healthcare team and patients/residents and their family members in the medical record.
• Assists with procedures relating to safe and effective methods of procuring, maintaining, administering and disposing of drugs.
