Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. Duties:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage and labeling
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
- Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive medication therapy plans
- Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust treatment as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current state pharmacist license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration
- Experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine (ER), critical care, or acute pain management is preferred
- Completion of a pharmacy residency program is a plus
- Proficiency in IV infusion and compounding techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
