Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Overview:
Responsible for the sales, marketing, maintaining, and documenting of all sales activities for Carie Boyd’s portfolio of products to physicians in private practice, in group practices, in hospital settings, and fellowship programs within a defined geographic territory. Employee will act as the key link between Carie Boyd’s and both current doctors and new clientele. The goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s products and maximize sales growth. Employee must adhere to all department policies and procedures.
Principal Responsibilities:
Employee:
· Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with Physician Groups, Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Accountable Care Organizations, current providers and prospective healthcare providers in the assigned territory or target list to generate new business for CBP.
· Analyzes the territory/target list potential and determines the value of existing and prospective client’s value to the organization.
· Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory/target list.
· Supplies management with oral and written reports on doctor’s needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Keeps current with industry trends, clinical journals/publications, market conditions, competitive activities thru the reading of pertinent literature information.
· Maintain updated weekly logs to upper management on activity and call frequency to ensure overall goals are met.
· Provides historical records by maintaining reports on area and customer sales.
Qualifications:
Education: BS degree
Scope:
· Respects and maintains the confidentiality of information.
· Adheres to all accounts receivable policies, procedures and compliance guidelines.
· Works with minimal direction, consults with leadership as needed.
Experience:
· At least 2 years of documented, successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales.
· Personal experience with sterile compounding preferred.

· Ability to build, maintain, and grow customer relationships.
· Demonstrated clinical selling skills and business acumen in complex selling environment.
