Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Capsule and Tablet Machine Operator to join our dietary supplement manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining capsule and tablet production machinery, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality products. This role involves close attention to detail, adherence to food safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor capsule and tablet manufacturing machines and packaging machine to ensure proper functioning.
- Set up and adjust machinery parameters according to product specifications.
- Monitor the production process, adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify and address potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Follow and enforce food safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with quality control personnel and supervisor to conduct product inspections and address any quality concerns.
- Record and maintain accurate production logs, including details of machine settings and production output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations.
- Other work assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Capsule and Tablet Machine Operator or similar role in a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement or food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of capsule and tablet production machinery, including set-up, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in executing machine settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventing equipment issues.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment components, like 50lbs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues promptly.
- A willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
