Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Mechanic-2nd Shift.
MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL or INDUSTRIAL MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!

Job Summary:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment failures.
- Develop, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Review and track equipment component failures and help make recommendations for increased long-term reliability.
- Maintain appropriate equipment documentation and change control according to internal procedures.
- Participate in spare part analysis and inventory development.
- Installation and start-up of new equipment.
- Completes basic maintenance procedures with minimal supervision.
- Complete complex Maintenance with limited supervision
- Completes maintenance request work orders for regulated and un-regulated systems.
- Performs routine checks/inspection routes. Records equipment readings and changes chart paper.
- Effective documentation of Preventive Maintenance and Calibration under the GMP, development and research umbrella
- Complete Equipment Activation following established procedure.
- Schedule self-performed work assigned at beginning of month and due by end of month.
- Schedules and escorts contractors through facility for routine deliveries or inspections. Ensuring they complete activities per procedure or agreements.
- Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA safety, ISPE or FDA guidelines.
- Creation of maintenance procedures and updating existing procedures to match best practices and lessons learned.
- Identifies and orders spare or replacement parts for equipment utilizing inventory management system.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or GED required.
- Technical Trade School (mechanical certification), in lieu of 3-5 years of previous mechanical experience in a related field.
- 3-5 years of previous mechanical experience in a related field, in lieu of Technical Trade School (mechanical certification)
- Individuals with equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Not allergic to chemicals or bio-substances found in laboratory or production facilities.
- Able to work safely with heavy equipment.
- Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, feel objects, tools, controls, reach with hand and arms, talk, hear, and good vision.
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
