Pet Sitter and Dog Walker Job Summary
Do you love animals? Do want to get paid to snuggle fur babies? You may be perfect for our current Pet Sitter/dog walking job opening. We are looking for someone who wants to help owners provide the highest level of care for their pets when they can’t do it themselves.
Looking for:
- Pet Sitter/Dog Walker, part time position
- Pay averages $16.28-$28 per hour
- We cannot guarantee hours or monthly income
- Daily and weekly hours vary, between 7 am to 9 pm
- Summer months, September, and Holidays tend to be busier
- College students and active retirees are encouraged to apply
Job Responsibilities
- Travel to customers’ homes
- Provide companionship and exercising pets as needed
- Collect and dispose of pet waste
- Feed, water, and administer medication to pets
- Ensure the pet’s safety and well-being at all times
- Monitor the pet’s health and alert the owner of any changes
- Providing regular updates to pet owners
Required:
- Working Smartphone with camera, texting, GPS, and Internet
- Must passionately care for animals of all types
- 18 years of age or older and able to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and full coverage automobile insurance
- Must live within a reasonable distance of the service area. (Richland, Kennewick, Pasco WA)
- Must demonstrate history of reliability; must also pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work weekends, early weekday mornings during summer, and holidays as needed

Job Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with animals and knowledgeable about the general needs of dogs, cats and small rodents
- You should love the outdoors and enjoy playing with pets who are energetic
- Experience in pet care
- The ability to perform animal CPR and first aid (Will train)
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.28 - $28.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
