Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Pet Sitter to join our team. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to pets while their owners are away. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy spending time with pets and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Provide daily care for pets including feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed

- Ensure pets have access to fresh water at all times

- Clean and maintain pet areas, including litter boxes, cages, and bedding

- Engage in playtime and provide companionship for pets

- Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns or changes to the owner

- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding diet, exercise, and medication

- Maintain accurate records of pet care activities

Skills:

- Animal restraint: Ability to safely handle and restrain animals when necessary

- Animal care: Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures

- Dog handling: Experience in handling dogs of various breeds and sizes

- Animal handling: Ability to handle animals with patience, gentleness, and confidence

- Pet care: Knowledge of pet health, nutrition, grooming, and exercise needs

- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of pet food or large crates

- Veterinary technician: Experience or training as a veterinary technician (preferred but not required)

- Veterinary: Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.89 - $12.10 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
