If you’ve ever had a pet, you know how expensive it can be when they need to go to the vet, and so does our client. They believe in helping pets get through their rough days and focus on extending their good days by offering a wide range of products with no restrictions based on the breed, age, or size of the animal. They are looking for a confident, lively, friendly personality to be a trusted advisor and sell pet insurance policies to prospective pet parents at the Dane County Humane Society.

Responsibilities:

• Represent our client as a confident, friendly, trusted advisor to sell pet insurance policies to prospective pet parents
• Communicate competitive advantages of the product, demonstrating a deep understanding of our client's product and competitor products
• Turn prospects into loyal clients, raving fans, and repeat customers
• Accurately record prospect and customer information in the CRM
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for new business

Qualifications:

• The ability to structure your work week during peak hours (Friday-Sunday) when it is most lucrative for the agent is required
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license or willing to obtain a P&C license at the expense of the Company within 30 days of employment (subject to state requirements)
• Proven self-starter with 3-5 years of experience in an animal care role
• A passion for prospecting new sales opportunities (must enjoy people-facing role)
• Passionate about pets and have a desire to help their human companions understand the value of protecting them with the most comprehensive pet insurance available
