- Annual Salary Range: $62,500 - $85,900, based on experience.
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
- Shift: Full-time • Days (Rotating Weekends)
Job Summary and Qualifications:
- Conduct PET CT procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Maintain records for quality control and state agencies.
- Handle radioactive materials safely and administer specified medications as directed.
- Evaluate workflow for efficiency and provide input to management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET CT procedures according to protocols, assess image quality, and complete all study requirements.
- Improve patient care and streamline procedures, offering suggestions to enhance workflow.
- Deliver excellent patient care and customer service during PET/CT duties.
- Conduct in-service training on Radiation Protection and Exposure for the Radiation Safety Officer.
- Keep management informed of changes in the Radiation Protection Program.
- Act as a key contact for radiation exposure or program questions in the absence of the Radiation Safety Officer.
- Coordinate technologist coverage as needed for the imaging department.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED required, Associate Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
- Must be registered and in good standing with ARRT (N) or NMCTB and certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (CMRT).
- Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board and CPR certification required.
Compensation:
- Annual Salary Range: $62,500 - $85,900, based on experience.
