Pet Care Technician: Seasonal

Wiggle Butt Inn is looking to expand their team of dog advocates!

Days Required:

Wednesday and Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm; Cover shifts unaccounted for if possible as a a floater; Hours are based on the capacity of guests. This position is seasonal for May through August.

Wiggle Butt Inn is looking for a Pet Care Technician with professional dog care and handling experience. Must possess calm, assertive temperament with dog, customer service skills with people, ability to perform highly active work. Must have a strong work ethic, be a team player, in addition to having a true love for dogs and an understanding of how to meet their needs in a boarding environment. Job Type: Part- Time Seasonal: $13.50 to start during 6 week training period with raise afterward. This is a seasonal position May through August with potential for permanence based on performance and capacity.

Experience:

• Professional Pet Care: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Feeding and medication administration
• Daily cleaning responsibilities
• Multiple health checks over pets
• Individual daily activities per pet
• Interaction with pet parents/able to understand clear instruction for each pet
• Communication amongst staff for best possible care of each pet

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
