The ideal kennel assistant portrays strong organization and detail orientation, reliability, punctuality, and a sense of initiative. The candidate will be responsible for providing care and basic needs of the animals that are patients of Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, including:
- Cleaning, walking dogs, feeding and general care for our patients.
- Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises, for instance: laundry, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc. in the communal areas of the hospital.
- Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
This is an excellent entry level opportunity for an individual that is committed to their career growth in the veterinary field that is also wanting to grow with the practice. For the interested candidate this may lead to opportunities for training and advancement to other positions.
Salary: $15 - $18 Per Hour
