Form of workWe are looking for a part time kennel Pet Care Attendant at Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital
Potential to turn into FT for right person. Experience is a plus but will train the right animal loving candidate! Applicants must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation dependable and team oriented individual.
- Flexible for both Am & PM shifts
- Holidays and weekends required
- Snow Coverage during winter months required
The position will require physical demands that go along with animal care and facility cleaning for both our kennel and hospital environment.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail a must! Position demands compassion dedication and responsibility to our boarding pets as if they were your own
- client interaction including assisting with arrival departure and ongoing pet updates to families
- Detailed record keeping and maintaining basic animal care and safety
- proactive monitoring of all boarding pets reporting to supervisor and/or veterinary medical team while remaining integral part of pet's care
- Walks dog
- Cleans dog runs/cages and cat cages
- Feeds pets in the kennel
- Maintains the overall cleanliness of the kennel and hospital
