We are looking for a part-time kennel Pet Care Attendant at Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital.
Potential to turn into FT for the right person. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right animal-loving candidate! Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, be dependable, and be team-oriented.
- Flexible for both AM & PM shifts
- Holidays and weekends are required
- Snow Coverage during winter months is required
The position will require physical demands associated with animal care and facility cleaning in our kennel and hospital environments.
- A positive attitude and attention to detail are a must! This position demands compassion, dedication, and responsibility to our boarding pets as if they were your own
- client interaction, including assisting with arrival and departure and ongoing pet updates to families
- Detailed record keeping and maintaining basic animal care and safety
- Proactively monitor all boarding pets.
- Walk dog
- Cleans dog runs/cages and cat cages.
- Feeds pets in the kennel
- Maintains the overall cleanliness of the kennel and hospital
