Social Pet Hotel & Daycare is ready to hire a full-time Pet Care Assistant Manager - Animal Facility Manager to join our animal care team in Pineville and Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity for somebody who has leadership experience in the animal care or hospitality industry and an associate degree. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A PET CARE ASSISTANT MANAGER - ANIMAL FACILITY MANAGER
This animal care management position works 8-hour days, 5 days a week. Weekend and holiday work is also required.
YOUR ROLE AS OUR PET CARE ASSISTANT MANAGER - ANIMAL FACILITY MANAGER
As our Pet Care Assistant Manager - Animal Facility Manager, you play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to our clients and making their furry friends feel safe and happy while at our pet hotel. Each day, you work alongside our specialists and trainers to help execute the leadership team's strategies. With a welcoming smile, you greet all pet parents and their dogs as they arrive. You oversee your staff to ensure that customer service is exceptional and that the dogs and staff are kept safe. Because safety is your number one priority, you carefully observe all dog behavior to ensure good play skills are being used at all times.
You maintain accurate records of all incidents and competently discuss each dog's experiences and behavior with its owner, consistently building strong connections between our Pet Care team and our clients. Using your excellent leadership skills, you make sure the facility and day-to-day operations are always up to our organization's high standard. You work side-by-side with your staff to complete all necessary tasks safely, efficiently, and thoroughly.
With a friendly and proactive demeanor, you regularly provide your team with constructive feedback and promptly address all customer and staff challenges. Committed to leading by example, you demonstrate positive interactions with the people and dogs around you daily. You love providing care and affection to dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Pet parents can always count on you to keep their furry friends healthy and happy. You get great satisfaction in knowing your efforts help our four-legged friends thoroughly enjoy their time with us!
REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR PET CARE ASSISTANT MANAGER - ANIMAL FACILITY MANAGER
  • Leadership experience in animal care OR the human hospitality industry
  • Associate degree from a two-year college OR technical school
  • Ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for kennel operations in NC
  • Love for all dogs
