The bather’s responsibilities include bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments. Pet bathers will treat all animals with the utmost love and care. This is a service-related industry and you should be skilled at customer service and achieving the satisfaction of our customers and our furry friends. To be successful in this role, you should be able to comply with pet owners' instructions as well as accommodate any special requests they may have while treating all animals with the utmost love and care.
Duties and responsibilities

Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets
Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears
Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations
Ensuring that all pets are safe during the bathing process
Focuses on safe and gentle handling.
Routinely cleaning workstation
Ensuring a safe environment for yourself, the team, and the pets
Recommending suitable products to pet owners
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Passionate about pets
Exceptional understanding of all dog breeds, personality traits, and safe animal handling skills
An expert understanding of the grooming processes, including specifics related to breed styling
Working conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
