Job Title: Group Training Coach and Personal Trainer

Job Description: Stay FITT training is looking for a highly motivated, driven, certified personal trainer and nutrition coach who is passionate about changing people's lives. We are looking for someone who is committed to our mission, vision and values as this is the backbone of our team culture and who we bring on our team. We need someone who will deliver an incredible experience using energy, passion and commitment – someone who believes in our program and its success and is Ready to grow with the company into a leadership position and a potential full time position.

About StayFITT Training:

StayFITT Training is an independent gym locally owned and operated by LaRee Schuenman in Riverton, Utah. We are a premier group training, personal training and nutrition coaching facility, and our mission is to help our clients reach their health, wellness and fitness goals as they progress through each training session. StayFITT was built with humble beginnings during the COVID Pandemic in LaRee’s very own garage before growing into the perfect storefront location in 2021.

This is a local business with local values, striving above all to inspire people to live happier, stronger and healthier lives! Our group training sessions are centered around positivity, encouragement and supporting our members. Sessions are science-based and designed for fat loss and muscle building. We incorporate function and mobility, strength training, cardiorespiratory work, and stretching throughout every week, varying every session for progression and variety.

Key Responsibilities, 3 areas:

Training & Coaching

  • Lead a safe, organized, professional, challenging, and motivational group training session

  • Availability to coach morning, evening, weekend sessions in tandem with other coaches (we offer flexible scheduling)

  • Lead pre-programmed group training sessions for up to 24 people through HIIT style, endurance and strength training workouts in a safe, organized, professional, challenging, and motivational manner

  • Be able to focus on multiple people at once and ensure that everyone is exercising in a safe and effective environment

  • Modify and demonstrate movement patterns for injuries and older individuals

  • Manage personal one-on-one training sessions by assessing and planning safe, effective training progressions

  • Inspire, energize and motivate clients throughout workouts and nutrition consultations

  • Keep the studio clean and safe for members before, during and after class

Retention and community

  • Develop client relationships to ensure they are achieving maximal results

  • Follow up with new prospects and leads with warm calls and texting

  • Create with the team fun, educational reels and social media content

  • Develop member rapport through social media contact and interaction

  • Post and share on your public social media platforms to promote your sessions and the gym

  • Attend at least two StayFITT classes each week

  • Build relationships with our clients

  • Interact on social media with our community

Community & Staff Development

  • Support and attend at least one StayFITT community outing per quarter

  • Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings

  • Present education topics to staff when asked

  • Network with local businesses and community groups to increase membership-base, marketing in swag bags, and build community rapport

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to safely lift at least 50 lbs; this position includes walking, lifting, jumping and sitting when necessary

  • Current Nationally accredited Certified Personal and/or Group Training Certification

  • Current Nutrition Coach Certification - Precision Nutrition (preferred but not required)

  • Current CPR/AED Certification

  • **We are willing to mentor and train newly certified coaches as we want to invest in you as you invest in StayFITT

  • Exercise Science, Health, or Kinesiology college degree preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of strength training, physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics

  • Must be a motivator, use effective communication skills and make training fun, engaging, upbeat, positive, and personal

  • Hold a high love for growth, learning, change and continued education
