Alloy Personal Training at its core has been in business since 1992 helping people get in the best shape of their lives. With our new, locally owned franchise in Spring, TX off Riley Fuzzel we are excited to help our community live life to the fullest, no matter where they are in their fitness journey. We utilize a fitness formula based on tens of thousands of personal training sessions per year, providing maximum results in the least amount of time. Our programs are tested in real facilities, and created by degreed exercise physiologists, doctors of physical therapy, registered dietitians and other behavioral specialists. We combine cutting-edge science with real, in-the-trenches experience to offer some of the most effective programs in the world in helping people look and feel their absolute best.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Personal Trainer to join our team as a part time coach. The ideal candidate for this position has previous coaching experience, enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, particularly those 40+, and is capable of motivating and inspiring others. A successful candidate will be a CPT, have a passion for teaching, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the mission and core values of Alloy.
- Apply the Alloy workouts to each client appropriately as prescribed by the Director of Training during sessions of 4-6 members.
- Implement all corrective exercises, restrictions, regressions, progressions, and any special communication to prescribed workout as it is written by the Director of Training and head coach.
- Monitor client progress and provide feedback.
- Motivate clients to work toward their goals and ultimate why's.
- Maintain a safe environment for all clients and staff.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
- Wear Alloy uniform during all training shifts (black pants/shorts and approved Alloy logoed top).
- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled shift, ensuring to clock in and out on site.
- Set up equipment needed for daily workout.
- Manage various activities for clients and gym in Alloy software.
- Review client information prior to each session and record all workouts and appropriate notes for each client after each session in the Alloy App.
- Promote the message of the week during ALL coached sessions.
- Follow-up with all no-shows. Promote accountability each week.
- At the end of the morning and evening shifts, complete the tasks listed on the closing checklist.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Personal Trainer
- Certified Personal Trainer with ACE, NASM, or equivalent
- Ability to coach all fitness levels
- Passion for health and fitness
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain high energy and positive attitude
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Alloy certification (access to cert course will be provided upon hire)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
