I’m a 35 yr old professional looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring person to assist me with my overnight care including ADLs, bi-pap, and enteral feeding. This is an excellent work opportunity--I’m a personable and active recent grad school graduate and former college teacher. My occupation is in the field of adaptive technology research. I use a power wheelchair. Gain valuable experience for a career in nursing, PT, and OT. Part-time with potential for full-time. Flexible hours, M-F. Pay: $22-24 per hour. Location: North Raleigh.

Required experience (skills and devices):

• Respiratory (Bi-pap/C-pap, suctioning, nebulizer, percussive therapy)
• Enteral tube feeding
• Activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.)

Preference given to applicants who have:

• Experience working closely with persons with a neuromuscular disease
• Experience in a home-healthcare environment

A successful applicant will:

• Have excellent English communication skills.
• Be able to follow a strict rule of no odors, perfumes, or scented body or laundry products. This is a scent-free workplace.
• Have own transportation.
