Personal Care Assistant

Duties:
- Provide Personal Care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for patients.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment, such as eClinicalWorks and DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks, such as venipuncture (drawing blood) and gastric lavage (stomach pumping).
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and anatomy.
- Ability to suture wounds is a plus.
