Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. We are a small family type home that provides high quality care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of Personal Care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry

- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Experience:

- Previous experience in Personal Care or a related field is preferred

- Familiarity with senior care and working with individuals with memory loss

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality

- Ability to work independently and well with others in a team environment

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
