Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a paid position that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring and positioning clients
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document client care activities and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Ability to pass a background check
