Basic Function:
The Personal Banker is a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our communities. Personal Bankers engage customers in deeper conversations to uncover needs and provide guidance and solutions to assist in client’s financial wellness journey. As part of the Branch team, the Personal Banker will work with customers to develop and expand relationships based upon their unique financial goals, leading to customer confidence in their finances.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Embodies a strong customer experience culture, being present with every customer and teammate and realizing the impact they can have on their day, personally, professionally, and financially.
· Listens for clues for opportunities during customer conversations and provides effective and customized recommendations to customers.
· Consistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations.
· Opens personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small business, various deposit products, home equity, mortgage, unsecured lending, certificates of deposit, etc.).
· Develops strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners – focusing on customer acquisition and deepening the relationship of current customers; effectively manages internal and external centers of influence.
· Ensures compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures and policies.
· Supports branch operations, including assisting with customer transactions on the Teller line as needed.
· Complies with all policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of CCB and CCB customers.
· Serves as backup for teller functions, as needed.
· Fills in for Branch Manager as needed.
· Responsible for monthly review of CCB Internal Controls as assigned.
· Completes all duties to ensure compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:
· 1-3 years’ experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources (preferred).
· Must be client first, sales-driven, self-motivated, competitive individual with excellent interpersonal and sales skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Understanding of consumer credit – including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports (preferred).
· Comfortable overcoming objection and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful.
· Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within CCB (required).
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items (less than 20 lbs.), and to walk short distances. Requires repetitive motion and substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Pay range: $35,880-$50,232/annually(The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications and experience, and an analysis of internal compensation and market data.)
