PERMITTING COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Permitting Coordinator (PC) is responsible for making good, safe, and sensible decisions that serve the company’s best interest. Listed below are the main duties the PC is responsible for:
Permit Management- It will be the PC’s responsibility to track the number of permits in their funnel at all times. The PC will be responsible for monitoring the number of permits they are working on, and the stage each permit is in. The PC will work with their Leasing Agent (LA) to understand the needs of each location based on lease terms and will develop a strategic plan that address how they will get an approved permit for each site. The PC shall be responsible for reviewing zoning ordinances, permitting procedures, structure placement (at LA’s direction) and other questions or tasks that may need to be addressed as they work to get permits approved.
The PC will be responsible for inputting certain information into HubSpot, assisting their LA with things like mailings, permitting questions they may have etc.… The PC may be asked from time to time to work with the Permitting Manager on variance submittals including, but not limited to, the preparation of and even presentation of, when virtual options for the meeting are available.
From time to time a need may arise that is not addressed in the above-mentioned duties. The PC may be asked to help with, be responsible for, or resolve issues not listed above.
The PC will report to the Permitting Manager (PM) and keep the PM updated on project progress, permitting progress, etc. The PC shall discuss with the PM, before the process begins, any unusual situations or unexpected cost to be incurred during any part of the process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
