We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain after an injury or illness. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our patients by providing personalized care and developing treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to relieve pain and promote healing
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
- In-depth knowledge of human physiology and anatomy
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
