$20.00/hour to start; Payroll run on the 15th and last day of each month.

Permanent, part-time courier position transporting specimen, medical office supplies/documents, bank deposits, and postal mail. As part of our team, you will be an integral part of the transport logistics, supply chain, and materials management for medical communities in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.

CCS, Inc. is currently hiring to fill a single position for the following scheduled days/hours:

Tuesday through Friday mornings from 8:30am to about Noon. The scheduled routes are approximately 60 - 65 miles and involve stops in Bellingham, Ferndale, Lynden, Mt. Vernon, Burlington, and Sedro Woolley. Hours worked while training are paid at the full wage rate.

The company provides vehicles for all routes. The vehicle used for this route is a well-maintained, new-model 4-door hatchback car.

CCS, Inc. is a family-owned business whose operations are based out of Bellingham. CCS has provided outstanding support to our medical community since 1982. Currently, we are a group of 7 that service Whatcom, Skagit, Island, Jefferson, and Clallam Counties - Monday through Friday. Our small, well-coordinated operation adapts quickly to meet our clients’ needs. About 90% of our workday is scheduled, while the remainder is made up of daily requests from existing clients. All of us at CCS work part-time, with consistent days/times which are scheduled out many weeks in advance. We are all crossed-trained on a couple routes, adding variety and flexibility to our work schedule.

Job Requirements:

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively via Text, email, and phone.

· Ability to drive in the dark and/or during inclement weather during the winter months.

· Ability to think on your feet and work independently, yet be part of a well-coordinated team.

· Basic ability to complete and maintain an Excel spreadsheet.

· Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record.

· Ability to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.

· Current vaccinations for Flu, Covid-19, and Tetanus.

· Current negative test result for TB.

· Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or immunization.

· Ability to pass on-line bloodborne pathogen and fire prevention courses.

All expenses related to obtaining a background check, drug screen, certifications, vaccinations (or Titer immunization blood tests) will be paid for by CCS, Inc. as needed.
