Perinatal Mental Health Therapist - Maryland Or Florida (Remote)

About Us:
Ohana Counseling Services LLC is a private practice dedicated to providing high-quality Mental Health counseling services, with a specific focus on perinatal clients. We believe in the power of telehealth to make therapy accessible and convenient. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled therapist to join our team and contribute to the well-being of perinatal clients through individual and/or couples therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth therapy sessions for clients, addressing a range of Mental Health concerns, including but not limited to prenatal and postpartum challenges, relationship and adjustment issues, fertility, miscarriage/loss, etc.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Provide culturally competent and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensed in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C, PsyD, PhD) or Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) OR actively working toward licensure with supervision.
• Specialized training or experience in Perinatal Mental Health is preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a telehealth environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in conducting therapy via telehealth platforms.
• Ability to engage with perinatal clients with empathy, sensitivity, and cultural competence.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule.
