The Position and Team
Our experienced team of 4 total Perfusionists perform approximately 90 cases each per year. The cases performed consist of all adult cases to include CABGS and valves; and an occasional aortic cases, no transplants, VADS or ECMO. Weekend scheduled cases are rare and this account boasts an outstanding work/life balance.
Abilene is a family friendly town that boasts a very affordable housing market and many community-based activities. Abilene is located 160 miles west of Ft. Worth, TX and has a historic downtown and home to multiple affordable colleges in the area. As listed on Forbes, Abilene is one of the top 25 places to retire.
Position Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program, minimum required.
- You must obtain ABCP certification within two years of joining SpecialtyCare.
- Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
