The Performance Marketing Specialist will support ecommerce initiatives for Mud Pie by improving search ranking and online conversions with dynamic copy for products across three divisions-Home, Kid's and Women's. This position requires being proficient with Search Engine Optimization (SEO); organic search strategy, paid search marketing, content optimization, key word research, and link-building. This person will closely collaborate with the Ecommerce, Marketing, Design and Sales teams to provide user-friendly informational content and consistency across departments in an effort to increase all product sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction of the SEO function by creating a roadmap and innovation agenda
- Analyze keywords to gain higher visibility on major search engines through content, internal and external links and site optimization.
- Partner with Ecommerce team to align paid and organic strategies
- Analyze campaign performance metrics, conduct A/B tests, and leverage data insights to optimize campaigns continuously, improving ROI and conversion rates
- Lead Social Ad Management on platforms like Meta and TikTok
- Experience with keyword research and the ability to present and execute campaign examples utilizing tools like SEMRush.
- Monitor Google Analytics Property
- Research and optimize product descriptions with popular and relevant keywords
- Experience and knowledge with setting up and managing PPC (pay-per-click) ads
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to PPC, SEO, social media, affiliate marketing, email, and display advertising
- Own SEM channel performance- research, forecast and plan, execute and analyze. Manage at the campaign and overall tactical level
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Act as an internal point person to various departments as needed for digital content and product copy
- Implement brand voice and style standards across all content
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize product listings on major marketplaces like Amazon and Wayfair
- Experience with managing products feeds and data. (Feedonomics)
- Experience with Affiliate Programs (Ascend/Pepperjam)
- Write Amazon Descriptions
- Own Amazon Ad Channel - budget, keyword research and reporting.
Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in Performance Marketing and/or digital marketing
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or IT (or related field)
- Paid Ad Management experience required (4+ years)
- Expert in Google G4
- SEO and/or digital copyright experience required
- Online marketplace familiarity and other ecommerce platform experience
- Must have ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to effectively juggle diverse writing demands
- Must have strong grammar and organizational skills and superb attention to detail
- Must be able to clearly present ideas and writing to various teams and upper management
