SalaryNOTE: The following position is for PER DIEM (per patient / assignment) basis. We are looking for Home Health experienced visiting nurses who are willing to be processed for **POTENTIAL** cases in the future. It is based on case availability. Please do not apply if you have part time/full time expectations.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Our office is located in WEST COVINA, however we service patients all throughout Southern California. Please provide your service areas as applicable.
HOME HEALTH LVN (PER DIEM) job description:
- Licensed Vocational Nurses are responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include: following the plan of care, providing treatments, patient safety education, and medication management.
- LVNs are also expected to maintain and report accurate and detailed charting/documentation of their patient visits.
- The job details involve HOME HEALTH PATIENTS and rendering care at the PATIENT'S HOME.
REQUIRED HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a valid & up-to-date license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Must have 1 year minimum of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in primary care or a similar setting.
- Must have & maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
- Must be a licensed driver with auto insurance.
- Must have good reporting and documenting (charting) practices. Preferred experience with our electronic medical record (EMR) system: DSL or 'UltraHHC' but not a deal-breaker.
- Strong preference for nurses with HOME HEALTH experience already.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
