Each year REACH Crisis Services at YWCA works with over 2,500 survivors of Domestic and/or Sexual Violence, Stalking, and Trafficking. Our catchment area covers Manchester and 9 surrounding towns. We operate at 24/7/365 crisis hotline. Per-diem advocates cover the hotline on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and on Holidays/Office closures. They provide direct services to victims of domestic and sexual violence through support, information, resource referral and personal advocacy based on the empowerment model. Per-diem advocates also assess survivors for shelter, and take calls from local hospitals requesting an advocate to come speak with a survivor in-person.
