OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

Provide trauma-informed outpatient therapy, inclusive of diagnostic assessments; individual, group, and family therapy; and supportive services for a diverse caseload of adults and families experiencing a variety of behavioral health issues.

This position requires the Clinician to frequently be on-site for service. This is not a remote work or “work from home” position.


FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides appropriate trauma informed Evidence Based treatment to participants who are 18 years of age or older and their families/significant others.

2. Accurately enter intake and therapy appointments into EMR at least 48 hours in advance.

3. Produce minimum 16 hours and no more than 25 hours of billing a week.

4. Accurately enter all progress notes within 3 days of service and supportive documentation (e.g., treatment plans, safety plans, case management notes, Briefs, Triage notes, no show or cancellation notes) accordingly.

5. Accurately complete timesheet in ADP by end of business day on Fridays once all documentation is completed for the week.

6. With the individual’s consent, make a concerted effort to engage identified support systems including family and significant others, as it pertains to identified treatment goals.

7. Provide an initial and ongoing assessment of presenting issues, diagnostic impressions, and recommended courses of treatment.

8. Create treatment plans and routinely monitor progress in collaboration with the individual.

9. Coordinate care with other involved professionals (including psychiatry, case managers, primary care physicians, etc.) to ensure continuity of care.

10. Provide linkage to identified resources as needed. This may include referrals for expanded mental health programming including IOP, D&A, BCM, Psychiatry or other community services.

11. Accurately maintain required records and documentation, including intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with Agency, State, and County regulations.

12. Timely complete all mandatory trainings (in first 90 days and then as needed) to maintain, state, Community Behavioral Health (CBH) and NIAC credentialing; maintains all Continuing Education for licenses or certifications.

13. Function in compliance with agency policies/procedures and federal, state and local laws.

14. Regularly attend on-site monthly supervision prepared to discuss current caseload, weekly productivity, and any relevant clinical or administrative questions or concerns.

15. Behave in a manner that promotes safety, equity, and trauma-informed practices.

16. Coordinate internal or external meetings with supervisor as needed.

17. Participates in Interact’s Quality Improvement activities as requested including the participation in on-going outcomes oriented tasks.

18. Function in full compliance with all policies and procedures, federal, state, and local laws and Interact’s Code of Conduct.

19. Must participate in Interact’s Compliance Program, including reporting suspected violations of the compliance program or applicable laws or regulations to immediate supervisor or Director of Continuous Quality Improvement.

20. Accurately maintain and update as needed all necessary clearances (and license if applicable) to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

21. Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Outpatient Clinicians must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Master’s or Doctoral degree in Human Services field or;

2. A licensed mental health clinician, including psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or clinical social worker (LCSW). License not required but preference given to licensed candidates.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have Valid Childline, PA Criminal History and FBI Clearances prior to seeing clients.

2. Preference given to candidates already trained in CBT, PCIT, TF-CBT or another EBP.

3. Upon licensure, a willingness to undergo credentialing for major insurances. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

4. Previous experience providing behavioral health therapy preferred.

5. Must have a valid driver’s license or other means to complete visitations.
