The Position:
We're looking for a passionate People Operations Manager committed to delivering excellence in our mission to care for Kupuna. The People Operations Manager formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to assigned client/business units and employees, that reflects the People strategy of OPH. The People Operations Manager is responsible for the management of day-to-day performance and service delivery and primary liaison between People Operations and Community Operations. This position is a highly visible role that will work alongside the Director of People Operations to assist in short and long term planning related to the department’s strategic plan. Responsibilities include:
- Work with Regional Human Resources Managers (RHRM) to ensure legal compliance in admin HR functions, such as licensure, certification, and employment requirements.
- Conduct regular HR audits in communities to ensure compliance to OPH policies, procedures, systems and processes as well as ensuring accuracy of documentation.
- Assists in managing and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned areas; recommends and administers policies and procedures.
- Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by Director of Human Resources.
- Champions the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- (5) years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a senior role.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or SHRM-SCP, SPHR or must complete certification 12 months from date of hire.
- Multi-site location client support experience preferred.
- Health care environment experience preferred.
