Position Summary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, understanding their objectives and providing HR guidance and support to achieve business goals
- Proactively identify People Ops issues within assigned business units and develop and implement effective solutions to address them
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters including performance management, employee relations, career development, and employee engagement
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview questions, and evaluation criteria
- Collaborate with People Ops team to implement People Ops programs and initiatives such as talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, and diversity and inclusion
- Partner with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and change management initiatives
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance HR effectiveness
- Stay current on HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience is required (Master’s a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Curious mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and HRIS systems (ADP WFN experience is a plus)
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in progressive HR positions

Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Yes Energy’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
