Position Title:People & Culture Generalist

Job Description:

As a People & Culture Generalist at Grön Confections LLC, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role is based on the East Coast, primarily supporting our existing market in New Jersey and contributing to the expansion into new markets in 2024. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with a remote work setup, and possess a comprehensive understanding of various people-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.

· Partner with wider People and Culture team to develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the company culture.

· Take the lead in talent acquisition efforts for the East Coast, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategies to attract top talent.

· Act as the primary point of contact for employees on the East Coast, addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work culture.

· Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

· Navigate employment laws across multiple states with a primary focus on the East Coast region.

· Ensure company policies and practices align with legal requirements.

· Work effectively with a predominantly West Coast-based People & Culture team, coordinating efforts and providing support as needed.

· Travel onsite for interviews, onboarding, and employee-related needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or similar work experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven experience in remote work environments.
  • Experience in the Cannabis industry is a plus.
  • Certificates in Human Resources are a plus.

Work environment:

· Primarily a remote environment, you will be asked to travel to the facilities to perform the duties of the role.

· Some travel required.

Physical demands:

· Primarily seated unless traveling for the role or onsite conducting interviews and relationship management.

Compensation:

This position starts at $65,000
