As our People Business Partner, you will have an important role between employees and leadership, acting as a strategic Business Partner and employee advocate. You will coach leaders and assist employees in development to drive a high-performance culture and reward people's experience with high engagement. Areas of focus and responsibilities:

•Partner with People leaders on talent issues, development needs, and engagement, and provide appropriate performance coaching. Provide recommendations to the CPO on people insights that can improve and enhance the people experience at Velocity.

•Office/site visits with Senior leader(s) to engage with people leaders on their team and departmental stats, to make recommendations, and set up leaders for improving and enhancing the employee experience (ultimately excelling in “people stats”)

•Conduct employee relations investigations and provide coaching and documentation to alleviate potential risks to the company.

•Support the CPO in Coaching and Developing leaders, providing guidance and coaching to new leaders and junior managers to enhance skills, foster high performance, and drive engagement in coordination with leadership development programs and initiatives.

•Partner with Director, People Operations Systems and Infrastructure on program development, changes, and implementation.


Demonstrated Experience for success in this role…

•3-5+ years’ experience as an HR Manager

•Demonstrated experience in coaching and development

•Demonstrated experience in employee relations and investigations

•Experience with data insights –taking data and doing impact analysis

We have offices in Nashville, TN; Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; and Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position based out of our headquarters located outside Green Hills, TN. We have a hybrid work model. This role is required to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday.
