We are a respected and resourceful distributor of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration parts, equipment and other MRO supplies on a mission to #bethebestpart. No matter the need, we keep our customers supplied and running. We are currently seeking a Generalist to join our People and Culture team.
The People and Culture team is responsible for supporting and continuing to build on the fun, open culture at Keep Supply. As we continue to grow, it is important than to put guidelines and practices in place that protect the unique work environment. Being a small department, this is a great opportunity to gain some well-rounded experience in the People and Culture function.
The P&C Generalist role is designed to support the People and Culture function through proactive team member support and coordination of new hires and company events.
As a Great Game of Business practitioner, Keep trains team members to understand the financial aspects of the business in order to make decisions that matter every day. This creates a culture of trust, empowerment and growth.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet new visitors as they walk into Keep Supply, ensuring they feel welcome.
  • Participate in the recruiting process to include coordination of hiring events and career fairs, screening applications, interviewing candidates, and scheduling hiring manager and peer interviews.
  • Schedule new hire events to support the rapid growth of the company. This includes orientation, 30 and 90-day new hire follow ups, benefits meetings, and onboarding training events.
  • Work with Leadership and the Culture Club to continuously evolve the Great Game of Business practices at Keep Supply. Make recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
  • Participate in planning and coordination of company events, including monthly birthday lunches, company meetings, and happy hours.
  • Oversee office perks, such as the free snack program.
  • Keep the break room and office supplies appropriately stocked, working with our operations team.
  • Will be asked to work on other projects as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree or some college preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience working within an HR/People and Culture function or a 4-year degree is required.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with positive enthusiasm.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, confidence in ability to make good decisions.
  • Must be able to remain confidential when matters require.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of their careers.
  • Creative mindset with a "get it done" mentality.
  • Strong Google Suite or Microsoft office skills desired.
  • Mindset of curiosity and continuous improvement with the willingness to share thoughts and ideas.

$45,000 - $53,000/year plus bonus opportunity
