Job Title: Peer Support Professional
Location: Valley-Wide – Rocky Ford/LaJunta Peer House
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay Unit: Hourly
Pay Range: Hourly – Min: $17.50 – Max: $18.32 (based on qualifications and experience)

Requirements
- Personal mental health or substance use experience (self or as a parent)
- Ability to pass drug test and background check (including MVR)
- TB test result (within past 12 months)
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule including holidays, evenings and weekends
- English (speaking, writing and reading) and basic computer skills
- Timely and proper attendance
- Appropriate and effective work performance
- Ability to take direction and follow instruction
- May require
- Valid Colorado driver's license, ability to drive, insurability and willingness to travel
- Annual flu vaccination
3 Main Duties
- Work with individuals in groups or one-on-one, providing information and skills training
- Assist individuals in accessing treatment, including navigating systems of care
- Document/Communicate client participation and interactions in Peer activities
Required Experience & Skills:
Two years previous office experience. Must have the ability to prioritize work and manage time and the ability to communicate professionally in person and on the phone and have intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Previous medical office experience and bilingual skills are preferred.
Certifications: BLS certification/training and certification will be provided upon employment.
