- Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in need
- Assist individuals in setting and achieving personal goals
- Offer guidance and encouragement to promote positive change
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and empower individuals
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide emotional support as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Advocate for individuals within the behavioral health system
- Assist with navigating community resources and services
```Experience```
- Previous experience in social work, mentoring, or mental health counseling preferred
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and addiction counseling techniques
- Familiarity with behavioral health systems and resources
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with individuals in need
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis management abilities
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach
