As a Pediatrics Front Office Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that families feel supported and well-cared for from the moment they step through our doors. Your responsibilities will include:
Position Details:
- PART TIME: 20-30 hours per week
- FULL TIME: 40 hours per week
- Greet patients and families with a warm and friendly demeanor, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information to callers.
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and assist with completing necessary forms.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and provide timely updates.
- Handle administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
- Assist with billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Contribute to a collaborative and cohesive team environment, working together to provide exceptional care.
- Reports to: Clinic Administrator
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative work setting.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education or certification.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary commensurate with experience.
