UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatrician, Pediatric Physician Assistant (PA) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our outpatient health center. As a pediatric provider, you will be responsible for providing quality medical care to children and adolescents.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine check-ups, immunizations, and screenings for children from birth to adolescence
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health issues affecting infants, children and adolescents
- Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic illnesses or conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and ADHD
- Provide counseling and support to parents on nutrition, behavior, and other child-related concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as specialists, nurses and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Provide student intern and/or resident routine clinical supervision and mentoring

Requirements:- Doctoral Medical degree (MD) or Master's Degree
- Active Connecticut license
- Board certified or board eligible (for Pediatrician)
- A minimum of 3-years of experience, preferably in a community/public health setting
- Strong understanding of child development and behavior
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
