Therapy Manager
As Pediatric Therapy Manager, you will have the opportunity to be the connection between skilled, compassionate clinicians and the positive impact they have on every child and their family that enters the doors of your MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy center. This position is a clinical position and qualified applicants must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Speech Language Pathologist.

This position will manage the Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Department at one of MetroEHS’s Pediatric Therapy Centers and lead a clinical team that is passionate about making an impact on children's lives each day. MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy offers you the unique opportunity to walk alongside children and their caregivers, as well as the clinical staff you lead, all while leading the child who is on the road to habilitative success. Monitoring of Staff Performance

  • Communicate with therapists regarding productivity and provide strategies to support them.
  • Participate in weekly conversations with the therapy staff re: matters arising and productivity
  • Conduct Annual Performance Reviews and 6-month check in meeting per HR guidance for the therapy staff at their center. Gather feedback for reviews including Leadership Team, Regional Operations Manager (ROM), and other team members as appropriate.
  • Assist with development, implementation, and monitoring of Performance Improvement
  • Plan for therapists as appropriate

Best Practice Implementation for MetroEHS

  • MetroEHS Collaborative Mission Statement
  • Ensure therapy staff is adhering to MetroEHS guiding principle of collaboration between disciplines and caregivers.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings (including leading/co leading Coordination of Care meetings.
  • Ensure that the therapy team is keeping parents informed of all potential recommendations and options, changes in scheduling, as well as plan of care revisions.
  • Provide clinical and process-based support, guidance, and resources to therapy staff.
  • Serve as the liaison between therapy staff and admin staff.

Monitoring of Scheduling

  • Participate in individual therapist check-in meetings.

Participate in Clinical Process meeting with clinic administration.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes therapy materials for monthly purchase orders to send to appropriate admin/ROM.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current licensure appropriate to state regulations required.
  • Up to date with MetroEHS compliance certifications (CPR, Safety Care, DWC certificates)
  • Effective supervisory and communication skills for interdepartmental relationships are essential.
  • 3 or more years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities, preferred, or have the opportunity to be mentored in this position by a Rehab Manager.
  • Demonstrated competence in a specific therapy discipline for effective evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.
