BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Speech Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community in Tampa. St. Joseph's Children's Hospital treats more children than any other hospital in Tampa Bay so parents can rest assured their child will receive the best expert care close to home. With 80 pediatric physician specialists representing 25 medical and surgical disciplines, the team ensures the highest quality pediatric care for children, even those with the most complex or chronic conditions.
This is a fulltime, experienced, inpatient Pediatric Speech Therapy position with a heavy feeding caseload, infant through teens. Modified Barium Swallow Study experience required. Bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Evaluates and develops plan of care to implement specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of the profession of Speech Language Pathology.
- Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for therapists completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Speech Language Pathology students and volunteers.

Certifications and Licensures
- Required: CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)
- Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Required: Speech Therapy License
Education
- Required: Master's Speech Therapy
- Preferred: Doctorate's Speech Therapy
Experience
- Preferred 3-5 years pediatric inpatient/Acute Care
- Preferred: MBS experience
