Details:
- Currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
- Full time
- Provide family directed services to children and young adults.
- Hourly with benefits including health care, PTO and holiday pay, continuing education assistance, option for disability benefits, and employer contribution retirement benefits after the first year.
- Therapists compensated for all time in clinic (patient care, paperwork, planning, communication)
- $94,000 - $112,00 / year depending on experience for FT benefited position.
- Part-time compensation can be structured as hourly or paid per patient.
- We are not able to hire a CF for this position.
Clinical Expertise:
- Develop and grow a speech department designed to meet the needs of our community and clients
- Demonstrate a skilled understanding of clinical concepts and evidence-based practices
- Specialized expertise in relevant areas of practice such as articulation, AAC, social communication or other areas of interest
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to grow professionally and personally
- Assists in hiring and review process for Speech Language Pathologists
- Develop treatment plan and goals that are individualized to meet each child’s needs and based on child/family needs.
- Update short and long term goals as required by insurance and/or clinic.
- Involve parents in treatment sessions for parent coaching and home programming implementation.
- Provide written and verbal recommendations/home programs to clients and caregivers.
- Correspond with child’s teacher, other therapists, and doctor’s as needed to ensure collaboration of care.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner.
Provide mentorship and development:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to SLP students.
- Encourage continuous learning through program development and continuing education.

- Actively participates in and promotes improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
- Articulates ideas, expectations, and challenges clearly in order to foster open communication and trust.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- 1 - 3 years experience in pediatrics preferred.
- Eligibility for or possession of current Oregon license.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
- Current CPR or ability to obtain.
- Must pass a criminal history background check.
- Provide playful and creative child led therapy sessions.
- Communicate and connect with both children AND their caregivers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management.
- Approach problems with a positive mindset to find creative solutions.
- Utilization of a strength based approach to working with individuals.
- Mentorship and managerial skills.
