We are hiring: 
Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies is currently hiring a pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Canby location.  We will consider both full time or part time employees. We are seeking a creative, fun, and dynamic therapist, who has a passion for helping others and a commitment to continued growth and learning.

Job Type: Speech and Language Pathologist- Full or Part Time Available:

Full-time: Starting at 30 client hours/week. Option to work between 30-40, choosing your ideal caseload. 
Pay Rate: Salary $94,444.44 - $54,166.67  annually. Based on experience and client hours. 

Full time benefits: Starting at 30 client hours/week including:

  • Public Loan Forgiveness program eligibility based on nonprofit status.

  • Rural Provider  Incentive Program: 5% increase in base salary  (Canby location only)  
  • Bilingual Incentive Program: 2-5% increase in base salary, determined on frequency of use. 

Part-time (less than 30 hours/week): 
Pay Rate: $70.88 - $49.99, per client hour.  Based on experience

Part time Benefits: 
  • Paid Sick leave 
  • Unpaid Leave, including the week between December 24-January 1
  • Unpaid Holidays

  • Paid documentation time for reports
  • Bilingual Incentive Program: 2-5% increase in base salary, determined on frequency of use.

Neurotherapeutics Pediatric Therapies has been serving our community for over 35 years. We are a nonprofit organization and our services include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, mental health therapy, and naturopathic care for children, adolescents, and their families.

Our multi-disciplinary team offers  comprehensive therapy services in a collaborative, family-centered, and play-based environment. We have a shared mission and sense of purpose, which fosters a sense of community within our organization.  Neuro is dedicated to offering quality therapy and medical services to all our clients, while ensuring that individuals underinsured or with financial constraints have access to care. 

We have 8 clinic locations serving families in the Portland metro area  including Oregon City, Northeast Portland, Hillsboro, McMinnville, Wilsonville, Canby, Clackamas and Medford, with our partner, Medford Children’s Therapy.

Qualifications:
  • Speech and Language Pathologist degree from an accredited college or university, 
  • State of Oregon Speech and Language Pathologist License
  • CPR certification
  • Previous experience working in pediatrics, preferred. New graduates with a strong desire to learn and work in a pediatric outpatient clinic are encouraged to apply. 
  • Ability to utilize a play-based approach 
  • Knowledge or ability to learn, safe use of suspension systems and therapy equipment
  • Comfortable sharing spaces, limited individual treatment rooms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High levels of professional accountability and ethical standards

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate individuals 0-21 years to determine the need for therapy services
  • Develop/Implement treatment plans and administer individualized therapy services 
  • Complete all client treatment notes and reports in a timely manner meeting all insurance, supervision, and licensure requirements
  • Provide consistent home activities and caregiver education to support therapy goals
  • Collaborate with members of the clients care team
  • Provide guidance and support resources to clients and their families.
