ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Examine,
diagnose
and treat diseases and injuries of infants and children, extending into young adulthood. - Manage and formulate procedures for pediatric services.
- Instruct clinical staff on pediatrics and serve as a consultant to the NACC team.
- Participates in pediatric program planning actively.
- Participates in Performance Improvement and Peer Review activities actively.
- Assumes on-call duties as
required
.
- Maintains good working relationship with colleagues, staff, and community partners of NACC.
- Abides by clinical protocols,
policies
and procedures. - Complies with
productivity goals of the medical clinic. - Acts as consultant to nurse practitioner in patient care, as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Licensed as an RN and APRN by the board of nursing and certified by a national nurse certification organization acceptable to the board to practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
