The Position:
We're looking for a full time Medical Receptionist who will answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform assignments as needed to keep the medical office running smoothly.
- Interact in a professional, friendly, welcoming and warm manner with children and their families
- Apply exceptional customer service skills
- Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
- Provide information to callers, guests and patients
- Handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance with issues or delays
- Communicate effectively with parents, providers and staff
Who Should Apply?
Qualified applicants:
- At least 1 year experience in the healthcare field
- Medical assistant preferred
- Superb customer service skills
- A professional, welcoming demeanor and very personable
- Familiarity with insurance types
- Strong organizational skills
- Possess structure, attention to detail, and flexibility
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly attitude and willingness to work as a team
