SUMMARY: This position is accountablefor providing proficient direct and indirect nursing care of patients/familiesassigned under the direction and supervision of a physician and/or RegisteredNurse. LVN practice is performed within the scope of LVN licensureand in accordance with Valley Children's policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year LVN experience highly desirable
- Pediatric experience is preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited LVN Program
- Active California LVN License required
- BLS HeartCode within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
- California IV certification preferred
POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, 8-hour shifts and clinic hours are Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shift per 2-week pay period. Must also be available to attend a week-long (Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm) new hire hospital orientation the first week of hire.
PAY RANGE: $29.00 - $37.00
