Pediatric Dental practice is looking for a talented, customer service oriented professional to fill a Dental Assistant opening in our kid friendly practice. Will train on job for the right candidate and provide continuing education!

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the Dentist during examination and treatment
- Oversees the preparation of exam and surgical rooms
- Prepares sterilized instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials for procedure
- Maintains surgically clean work environment to prevent the spread of infection and diseases
- Ensures dental records are maintained and updated as needed
- Comforts and reassures patients
- Delivers postoperative instructions
- Counsels patients and parents on proper oral hygiene
- Must be exceptional with children
- Must have a strong desire to learn, grow and love working with kids
Required Education/Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent, required
· Minimum two years Dental Assistant experience, preferred
Experience with OpenDental software a plus

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
