Job Description
- Perform echocardiogram tests on patients, ensuring technical quality of images.
- Enter and monitor patient data accurately.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and escalate issues appropriately.
- Perform quality assurance on equipment and assist with accreditation applications.
- Identify and report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to Supervisor/Manager.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Take emergency calls within the department.
Requirements
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
- One (1) of the following required:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Pediatric echo experience
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
- One (1) of the following required:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
